If you are interested in registering for a trial swim with Blackpool Aquatics please contact the membership secretary via the contact us page to arrange a time and to register your details with the Club.
Trials normally take place at the same time as one of our club training sessions. The club will assess all new swimmers, regardless of their experience. By speaking to a swimmer and seeing them swim, the coach will be able to assess their abilities. The assessment meeting is also a good opportunity for the swimmer and parents to ask any questions about our training programme and the club.
What happens after your assessment? After you have attended your trial swim, the coach will be able to identify which squad we feel is appropriate for your current abilities.
If you would then like to join the club you will be given a membership pack which contains our registration form, along with two ASA registration forms, Swimmer and Parent (if the swimmer is under 18 years of age).
Details of ASA membership categories can be found here.
If you are already a member of another club… We understand that swimmers change clubs for a variety of reasons. If it is possible, please let the coaching staff at your present club know that you are intending to speak to us.
